Does anyone have a set of steel wheels for a UC laying around? I'd like to get the rubber off mine.

Do the older skelton steel wheels for UC's, still exist?
I have wondered when seeing the older tractor ads, for the "All Crop" tractor (UC), if anyone actually has a set mounted up on a UC today? Would anyone have pics?
(Don't mean to hijack Lonnie, just curious)

If I can't find any I'll end up redoing my cutoffs. Whoever welded them the first time used 28" rims and welded them with the wrong offset. The hubs are bolted on inside out because the tires hit the final drive when on correctly and inside out it makes the tractor over 8 feet wide. If I redo them I'll use 24" and weld them so the tires are under the fenders.

I'm guessing these are maybe U wheels since they are flat?

We have got a set of skeleton on our '31 UC, so yes there are some of them still around. Our '36 has got cutoffs with 24 inch rims on it, which works well, and looks monsterous with 14.9x24 on it.

I have a UC on skeleton wheels, it is a 1931, serial number 290. I also have the rings that you put in the skeleton wheels to make them a regular flat steel wheel.

Lonnie
Those wheels on the pictured UC are WC steel wheels that Roman had torched and drilled to make fit so he could haul the UC on his truck. I take it your going to that sale?

Jim, no I wasn't going to the auction, I just did a google search and that's one of the pics that came up.
