Dakota oil fields seem to be a hot job market

North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate in the country.  Many welding jobs open in all major cities, lots of truck driving jobs statewide, and as mentioned, many jobs in the oil fields (western part of the state).

Around here, a good tractor/construction machinery mechanic can get all the work he wants. There's only one guy around that I'd consider good and he has to turn away more work than he does. I do a little mechanic work on the side just because of the need and people beg me to. While I do know how to work on machinery from growing up in it and because of my own junk, It's not a profession I care to do much of.

Where to would help!  Deere and Cat are always looking for people.  You could probably walk into the Davenport Deere plant and get hired immmediatley.
