Will a C or CA drawbar assembly fit on a B without major modification?

The C drawbar is wider. It will not fit unless you swap out the B final drives for C finals. I would think it would take some modification to put a CA drawbar on there.

Depends on what you call major.  C and CA are wider than the B so you would need to cut the drawbar down and re-weld.

Guess I'll have to find out who owns the old machine sitting in the weeds - wider is better and I have an issue with the right final on mine, just have not gotten that far - it has a big CLUNK when taking styarying to move forward.  Kind of makes me think a bearing is gone.

When I bought one of my C's the owner thought it was having an issue with the final drive.  It was making a clunking noise when taking off and sometimes when driving.  I got it home and found out that the wheel clamps were loose and were slipping on the rim.  Re-adjusted the eccentrics and tightened everything up and no more clunk.  Just something to check.  Take Care, Rick W.

The C that I used to have clunked the same way because the wheel clamps were loose on one of the wheels.
