Seems like the 7040 would have been a good buy, unless it was in tough shape. Thanks for posting. Darrel

The 7040 was a maroon belly, ran real good, but was in fairly rough shape cosmetically as the windows were all busted out of the cab.  If I had space living in the city limits and all, I would have bought it at that price.  Both the WD's ran and drove across the auction floor, The narrow front had a fairly bad paint job and severe weather checking of the tires.  The wide front was original paint, overall just needed some love...But as I said I'm limited on space.  Sorry, no pics...I'll remember next time to bring the camera...

I can't figure out how some of these old Allis's get so mistreated. If I had one broken window I wouldn't sleep at night until it was replaced.

I know the 7040 did not sell because I talked to Bob on Monday. It runs real good, but cosmetics is rough. I think he wants $4000 or $4500 for it. You can call Meridian Equipment at 360 398 2141 and ask for Bob and he can put you in Contact with the owner.

Take care, Darryl
