I am doing the clutch on my WD45 - how do I reomove the throw bearing.  There appears to be a spirng holding onto the grease nipple.  Do I just unhook the spring?  How do I know which way to put the new bearing on - front to back of bearing?
thanks.

Yes remove spring and bearing and carrier will slide off.
The new bearing goes on with wides flat surface to engine.   MACK

I'm late with this post, but I have a nice Rebuilt PP [9 spring] and Clutch disc [ rebuilt w/ original NOS AC facings ready to install ] for your 45. PM if you haven't purchased yet.

Chris has a good point, make sure you use the 9 spring plate, WD's and WC's only had a 6 spring plate and they will fit but won't take the HP
