I see they just introduced a new Massey rotary with the 7 cylinder Sisu engine.  Will it be offered as a Gleaner and Challenger unit too?

God I hope not.  The A-series did not go over well compared to the R-series so I doubt it will be branded Gleaner, but maybe challenger. S77 is the only thing gleaner needs now.

I don't know.  I think ILGleaner likes his A unit pretty good as he just traded for another.
The big A series have a lot more capacity then the biggest R models don't they?

The "A" series Gleaners are good machines. I had an A85, and now I have an A76, liked them both. From what I have seen of the new mf's, looks like they have some interesting ideas, so I sure hope they come to Gleaner.

isn't the A series gleaners simply updated/modernized versions of the White 9700 design that MF bought the rights to before Agco ended up with all of them?

Yes, it is a newer version of the White.  Which is supposed to be based on a concept that Cockshutt came up with.

I saw it on RFD too.  All the dude could talk about was 1, how much lighter it was than the red and green machines 2, how the machines thrashes the grain and low center of gravity for an hour.  I did not feel like I learned any thing.  Viewers were encouraged to attend The Farm Progress Show tomorrow and see it for real.  We bought the red paint last time because we felt the Gleaner was going out like the orange paint did in 1985.

Rumor has it JD combine sales are down, not sure percentage wise, but Gleaner sales are up 8%, I think somebody posted something about it a few days ago on here.
