A more reasonable temperature would be welcome, which we have here now in North Western Ohio,  but I'd just as soon skip fall, winter and spring. Specially winter.

I'm ready for fall here too! Fall temps and some rain for the grass and to fill my ponds before winter.

I still had my fill of winter from the blizzard last year.

Wouldn't be great if we could jump from fall to spring and back to fall.

Kevin it be wonderful to skip summer and winter, just for a break from the extremes in either direction.

Joe, I'm ready for fall also. Was up in Boone, NC a few days this past week. Friday morning at 7:00 it was 52 degrees on top of the ridgeline. NICE! Which weekend is your show in Cumming? I may try to get my D 15 up there if I am not working at the fire department.

Hubert,  if you came up through Lenoir (321) you were only about a mile from our house.        Were you moving someone to college?   Tim

My wife and I just took a trip out west to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone Park  this week.  We were driving across northeast Wyoming on Monday and it was 97 degrees.  Wednesday morning in Yellowstone Park it was 29!

Joe, we're feelin that here too! The house A/C unit went out Friday night. It's been hard to get a good night's sleep last couple of nights. Fans in the windows help. Really thinkin about getting a window unit or two to tide us over til the new package unit comes in.

In upstate NY fall is the best time of year.

Night are cool for good sleepimg.
Alot of apples.
Leaves in full color.
Wish it could stay fall all year.

In 1956 we came out west for the first time from Ohio.  I was 7.  We camped in Yellowstone on the 4th of july and had to break the ice on the dish water.  I was totally amazed.   So far we have had 40 days of 90 or above, and more this week.

Tim, my wife and I were taking a few days off and staying with some friends that have a house just off 321 about 15 miles past Boone. We came back down through Lenoir. Hope to get back up that way in a few months. Beautiful  country up that way.

Fall is gorgeous, weather is great and apple festival is fun....BUT Sumer goes too fast.  Kids start school next week and I still have several projects to do including rebuild my bean head.  I'm not ready for Fall just yet.
