Hello, new to the forum.  I was just wondering if someone could tell me what the differences are in the engine being that they are both 2500 series engines?  Thanks

180 has a smaller carb and runs 200 rpm slower.

A little.  So I can just slap a 190 carb on my 180 and make 10 more hp?

And increase the rpm's by 200.

Do you get the 200 rpm's by changing the 180 governor weights to 190 weights, changing a spring(s) or a combination?  Just curious.  Mike

You might be able to make your carb. as big as 190's. With a bigger venturi, main and secondary jet.
