Series II

I drained the old oil out and need to know what I need to get to replace it.

Manual just says 24 quarts Special Allis-Chalmers Oil

              80/90 wt. oil in the rear end.

Hyd. wet brake oil.  agco 821 JD 303  IH Hi tran or any good brand. Much better than the old type of oils.   MACK

Mack, are you using the same oil for the hydraulic and power director?

Yes use the same oil all the way through. No reason not to use it in final drives also. All the newer tractors use it in final drives (planitary now) on most.   MACK
