If anyone uses a 20 Gallon Harbor Freight Parts Washer to clean their Allis-Chalmers parts, you may be interested in the following eBay item (Not Mine).

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEMPERATURE-GAUGE-METRIC-ADAPTER-KIT-M14X1-5-M16X1-5-/250839940681?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6739be49 - M14x1.5 Adapter

The drain plug in the parts washer is M14x1.5.  This Adapter Package will allow you to fit a readily available 1/8 NPT ball valve into the drain plug.  Only the M14x1.5 adapter is needed.

I just did this with my newly purchased el cheapo parts washer.  This adapter did the trick for the cheapest purchase cost + shipping that I could find at that time.

Thanks for the tip, I am going to fit one on mine.
