I'm in the process of rebuilding my Gleaner K2. I bought a K2 for parts that has an Air Flow Grain Saver on it. I'm considering installing it on my machine. My terrain is mostly flat with some slight slopes. I realize this option was intended for hilly terrain. My question is; Does this option improve the performance of the machine any on flat ground, or would it just be extra weight and power draw.

It will not benefit you on level ground. It was meant to somewhat equalize the chaffer load on unlevel ground. It would use a blast of air to attempt to spread the chaff across the whole width of the chaffer. Ryan
