I'm looking at Model C between 1947 and 1950 with rt and lt pick-up plows attached. Also has front side weights and drawbar. Battery box is missing and converted from magneto to distributor (12V). Metal in good shape with rubber about 80%.
Forgot to mention it has a narrow front. Wants $1,600.00.
Any idea to it's value? Thanks.

I am really not the one to ask for I am cheap. I only wait for the bargains to come by. It sounds like it has a few extras that have some value but as to what that value is I have no idea. I guess the question should be asked how bad do you need it or how bad do you want it? I have my eye on a wide front C that the ol boy wants to trade for two lawn mowers, but think the mowers are worth more then 800 dollars. been looking at a CA the ol boy wants to sell for $750 but again none of them are a need but a want.

OK  If it was mine and not much of anything wrong with it. Offer me $2500 and it's yours.

offer them $1200 maybe?  A bit steep for a C. The plows are cool though..

Thanks

weights $200  plows $250

You are looking at a $1150 pricetag for a C tractor. For our area, that may be $200-$300 high...

Of course I have not seen the tractor, maybe you don't want to quibble over a few benjamins.

Hey, Junkman, if you aren't interested in that C, and he's still got it toward the first of September, let me know. I might be interested.

Thanks Glenn, After a 9 hr. drive I got the C for $1,400. It wasn't a late model but a 1944. It originally had steel wheels but the guy who traded it in kept them. The left plow and jointer are a little damaged but the right side is good. Hydraulics are complete and work. I'm looking forward to restoring this wartime Model C!
Thanks again, Joe
