I have never had a problem like this before, but it has been extra warm this week. I have only had this problem in the afternnons. After about 15 mins if run time the thing acts like its starving for gas. If i lighten its load it will limp along for a while longer then die. After a 10 min break it will start the cycle all over. Sediment bulbs are clean and so is the carb. Is this vapor lock? Is it common on these tractors?  What can be done about it?

Sounds like some obstruction is in the neck of the sediment bowl pipe where it goes into the gas tank, Remove the glass and turn out the holder and put you finger or thumb over the hole and tap the holder upside down on the tire and you might just find a little obstruction, I have been down this road before and that has worked.

We had this happenin on our xt diesel while farming this spring. The fuel cap was sealing the tank and i guess thats the vent for the tank.

We have a gas powered IH utility that would do this after 20 to 30 minutes in the summer them be OK in the cool or winter but that may have been related to the load more than the temperature. Turned out that the rubber tip on the needle valve was swollen up. I guessed it was from ethanol but we put a new one in and it behaved just fine since. The Fuel pump wire broke and it did about the same but repaired the wire and all is good again. Just remember it can be fixed if the problem can be found.  RW
