Hello, I hope I'm in the right place. I have an emergency of sorts. I bought a HD4 allis Chalmers track loader on a flat bed truck. I have it home and need to get it off the truck.
      Problem is I don't know how to get the track on the left side to move.
To my left is the forward and reverse levers. They are marked.
The two big tall handles coming from the floor are brakes. I can stop it from spinning off the truck sideways. 
    Question is. What are the other two short handles off to each side of the big tall brake handles? and what are the two LEFT foot petals? They seem to click into place when pressing on the foot petals like parking brakes on a car would, do they disengage the drive? The right petal feels like its not moving anything. the left is stiffer for lack of a better word. Right foot petal is gas.
 Any help would be Great. Thanks.
 P.S. My wife would like her driveway back and this is blocking everything.  :)

The forward -reverse lever is at left hand while seated. The two tall levers are steering clutches. Pull it first and step on brake pedal respective to which lever you pull. The two short levers next to platform frame,outside of your feet that click are parking brakes. There can be a decellerator or accellerator pedal under the round rod guard at right foot. Sounds like a brake is stuck, could also have a stuck clutch. HTH Tracy Martin

If you have it in reverse and only the right side tries to move, you have a mechanical malfunction in the left side. Better get the wrench's out.

Sounds like the park brake is on ? may have to put your foot hard on the left pedal and release the park brake lever?

sent you a PM last night . parking brake also has a lock lever that needs to be released.
 brakes work on drum that is hooked to track drive - theis action is beyond the drive or track clutch drive. In other words without using the hand clutch / applying the brakes will do nothing while power is being applied to track drivetrane

Tracy , I'm new to this site. Was referred hear from a poster on NewAgTalk. Googled my problem and your name came up as a possible lead. Then after logging on hear, your name was referred to me. Have a model B with a Ross steering box. Several years ago I welded the pin up with stainless, now it has failed. Do you have the parts to put this gear box back up to snuff ? I haven't tore it down as of yet , but I'm afraid the stainless has probably ruined the rack gear by now. Besides after trying to repair the box the last time , when setting the play , the box was tight in center position but loose as a goose when cranked to the sides. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you Kenny Williams
