Today I took a different way home from work and saw a barge box allis wagon on a home made trailer, I stopped and the guy said he would think about selling it as he said he may never use it againis has a few dents here and there but nothing serious, the floor isnt much count but it does have have the ac hoist and isnt rusted anywhere that I could see, it has been painted in the past but the orig decals are showing through where the paint is comming off, the gate is there and in good shape also, what would it be worth in your guys oppinion, I have an allis 6 hole gear to put it on, and I think it is very cool

At a recent consignment sale in our area, a barge box in excellent condition all the way around went for about $500. I think it could have easily gone higher if there were more people interested in it. I dont recall what manufacturer it was.

500 dollars tops around here for one in average shape, usually the steel ones go cheap and bigger wooden barge boxes bring more.

About five years ago, I ran an Allis flare wagon with an allis gear and hoist with a pushed in side, and two flat tires, and a poor floor to $1300, (my final bid) and it went for $1400. South of Monroe, WI.
