The D-19 is my favourite beachmaster. After a quick search I found they made the D-19 beachmaster from 1963-1964 and Allis also made their own beach sanitizer which is what picks up the debris off the sand. Theres some pictures at the bottom of the page here http://www.toytractortimes.com/messageboard/images.html?page=3484 - http://www.toytractortimes.com/messageboard/images.html?page=3484

The forum has its own "Beachmaster" Mr. Bill Long. As a matter of fact, he's probably sittin' on the beach with a copy of OAN on his lap watchin' the babes with his mirror sunglasses on as we speak!  You GO Bill!!   LOL!

Steve,  You are sooo right.  To me there is no place like Ocean City, MD.
By the Way if you check the early Old Allis News you will find an issue that discusses the Beachmaster.  In fact, Ocean City, MD was one of the first places the beachmaster was used.  I used to watch them clean the beach with 190's and the Beachmaster Sifter.  I talked with the operators once.  They said the 190's did pull the unit but they thought it was doing all it could to handle it.  They used the Beachmaster Sifters for years however the tractors that pulled them were much bigger and have four wheel drive.  Today they use a New Holland - Ford - tractor with four wheel drive with a newer sifter.  I have not seen the model but I would imagine it is well over 100 hp and close to 200.
I talked with the person who had the beachmaster at Union Bridge - in fact all the "crew" wore yellow beachmaster shirts - and referred him to the Old Allis News Article.
Hope this is some help.
Good Luck!
Bill Long
