Looking for correct light bulbs for headlights and rear lights.  I converted from a 6 volt to 12 volt and I am not sure what to get.  The old 6 volt bulbs for the headlights were GE1133. The rear light bulb was misisng. Is there a bulb I can convert to or do I need to change the sockets.

Take one to your auto parts store and tell them you need a 12v replacement. I found 12 volt bulbs on the rack at the local auto parts place.

It doesn't matter what tractor. It uses a single contact bayonet type bulb GE 1133 and he wants a 12 volt replacement.

One on-line cross reference says a 1073 is also appropriate. The glass envelopes of the 1133 is different from the 12 volt lamps but the filament centers are the same.

The 1156 works fine. That's what's in my Oliver 60 head lights. When I had the reflectors rechromed, it made them about as bright as a sealed beam.

1156 is a little more power than 1133 or 1073 and with the 12 volt current about half the 6 volt current, there's less voltage drop in the wires so there's ggod reason for greater brightness.
