I have recently got a d19 gas in pretty rough shape the motor is stuck and has many parts missing, but the tactor has fas factory 3pt that is complete, what i want to do is make this tractor a diesel,I have found a couple of 262 diesels from d17s but also found 301 from a combine, my question is will the 301 bolt up to the d19 tractor or how much modification will i have to do? Just thought maybe someone has already tried this, i would be greatful for any help or info. Thanks

I put a 301 in a D17 gas series 1. Pretty easy swap. It will bolt up. I had to modify frame rails. The clutch and housing was fairly easy, 190 clutch.

Are you still looking for a diesel conversion motor?

I have a Nissan diesel motor that is in a D19 tractor. It is rated at 90 Hp, It runs excellant, has all mounting plates, fits very nicely.
