I bolted on the cover boards and it didnt make much difference.  It helped but not much.  So i decided to go nuts adjusting etc.

I moved the coulters down and back, set the lift links a bit more so the plow sat slightly deeper on the deadfurrow side.  Lastly I made up a 2 ft long landside with a brace on the back bottom. 

It works mint.  I don't even have to look back and check anymore.  I hope I can whip this little field into shape to plant some corn before it gets too late!

Glad you got it to work,  we just planted 2.5-3 acres of sweetcorn today. All new plowed fields, The fieldcorn is all up planted a week ago tuesday and wednesday. Good Luck !!

See what a little adjusting can do. I've heard many over the years say they have that trouble and blame the plow. Some bottom types are a bit fussier than others but as you proved they can be made to plow.

Well I disked the heck out of that little field and planted some corn.  I know its late but I don't have any other option.  I made a mess of a part of it where the plow wasn't working so well but the rest of it looks great!  Again thanks for all the pointers and advice.
