I'm new to Allis Chalmers and recently purchased a '49 WD to do a restore.  I'm thinking of visiting the Allis museum in Paris, Il.  Anyone been there?  Is it worth the trip?  It's a short drive as I'm in St. Louis.

I can't make it to the show in July but was thinking of visiting later in the summer.  Thanks.

I have not been there but there are discussions concerning this museum and it's owner Dale Haymaker.  I have varius CD's depicting shows and events that take place there.  To me it is well worth while.
Give my kindest regards to Dale.
Good Luck!

Dale is a great guy and has a great collection. Worth the stop if your passing through and worth the trip for the Orange Power of the Past show he throws every July.
