If your centers are still good you can do what I did:

take the old rivets out and get new rim blanks from Steiner:

I think the right rim blank is part number IHS195:

Hi Beaker41,

We had one beyond repair for Dad's RC and bought a new one from Norm Meinert at Norm's Toys.

On my 39 RC,  I used a rear rim off a Case VAC.  They are the ones with the continous rib instead of the 6 humps. I had to change the location of the block that keeps it from slipping.

R Aiken again is right they should have a continous rib all the way around instead of dimples. I think they are only 9" wide also.

Norm Meinert and Norm's Toys are not the same. My recollection is that Norm Steinman owns Norm's Toys and Norm Meinert operates a business under his own name. Both advertise in the Old Allis News. Bob@allisdowneast

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

Bob, you are correct.  My apologies to both.

We got the rim from Norm's Toys.  It is a 9" rim correct in size for the RC, but as Ray pointed out, it has the dimples instead of the continuous ridge.

If i remember right the rears had only one scalp not two like the wc rims. that is on the cast center. Would press steel that was availble for the wc at the time be correct?

10 " is the correct width for RC's.  10x28 or 11.2x28 (new size).
