i had a 175 diesel, with a tricyle front that i traded for back in 1975.

my neihbor Paul Johnson ordered the tractor new, back when they first came out, and traded it in on a larger allis in 1975, and i went and traded a 165 massey ferguson in on it, as soon as i found out about the trade.

that was my favorie tractor to cut hay and run the bailer with, and i hated to have to sell it in 1979 to settle a divorce.

and i have never again seen another 175 with the tricyle front..

that is a good looking 175 after your freshening up

The final drive seals were leaking, figured might as well stop the leaks now.  Baler twine wrapped,  tach shows 4400 hours, mechanicaly the tractor seems "tight".

Looks really good!  I like how you painted the rear axles the cream they should be, lots of times they get painted orange in a fast repaint and look awful in my opinion.

Those are AGCO decals,  local dealer got them for me.

Looking really good!  That's my next project as well.  My biggest problem is the hydraulic lines along the left side of the tractor - mine are all mangled up.  They are no longer available as well.  Don't have a good pattern for making any.
