I recently picked up a drawbar for my B and got it mouted.  The question I have, there are 3 holes in th drawbar on each side.  The top and bottom are both tapped for the 5/8" bolt and the center is just a through hole probably about 1/2" diameter.  If I use the top or bottom hole, the drawbar is on at an angle and the bolt goes through 2 tapped holes, one in the drawbar and one in the final drive.  It looks like I need to use the untapped hole in the center but it's too small.  Is this common and is it alright to drill the hole hole out to 5/8"?

Nevermind, looks like I found the answer.  It's alright to drill it out.  Can anyone tell me what the top and bottom threaded holes are for though?

You should have an L shaped drawbar pin. I am assuming you don't though since you just got the drawbar that was seperate from the tractor. The L shaped drawbar pin has a hole in one end, while the bottom part is a piece of round steel that fits into the large hole about 4 inches behind the 3 holes. This round stock part of the bracket goes through the large hole in the drawbar, and into the untapped hole in the final drive. The bolt then goes through one of the 3 adjusting holes on the drawbar, and then into the tapped hole on the final drive.

This is the bracket you need:

You need a pair, or rather, 1 for each side. I don't have a picture handy to show the final installation unfortunately. I'm sure someone else has one and will post it though.

Thank you, and yes I have the brackets as well. I was just wondering what the threaded holes in the drawbar are for

Humm
I think the gizmoes Morton is talking about is commonly called a hammer strap. There should not be any threaded holes in the drawbar or the hammer straps. The threads are in the bull gear housings. Flipping the drawbar over gives you more options for drawbar angle. The parts books show the big hole for the strap pin being closer to the top
Some drawbars and hammer straps have 1/2 bolt holes. Some are 5/8.  Bull  gear housing bolt holes change size at B tractor B-46293 from 1/2 to 5/8ths. I'm pretty sure all Cs use 5/8 bolts
