Im going to change the transmission and hydraulic oil in my 7060 and wanted to know if Case/New Holland MAT 3505 oil would be okay to use. We use it in our other tractors and it would just be easier to use it rather than keep a separate oil. Right now I have Orchelns yellow bucket oil in it and want rid of it. Would this oil meet the requirements of the oil a 7060 calls for?

I'd guess it would be ok but, look on the bucket and it should say "meets 821 or 821XL" specs from Deutz-Allis or Allis-Chalmers.

It didn't say on the bucket, I asked the Agco dealer and he said that the Case Hy-Tran oil is just as good as the Agco permatran 821. The Agco was $68 a bucket and Case is $66 so price is about the same. I went ahead and bought Case since it would be easier to stock one kind of oil. Has to be better than the yellow bucket oil thats in it for $24 a bucket.
