The trans. overtemp light is allways on on my 8070.
Where is the trans temp sending unit located?
I know its probobly just the wire but I don't know where the wire starts.

I also just completed the FWA relocation. It looks 100% better! Can't wait to drive it!
I'll post picks later.

Thanks.

Get on a creeper and look just ahead and then above the RH hyd filter in behind the RH fuel tank and it's threaded into the side of the rearend case with one wire connected to it. That wire may be zip tied to a hyd tube, causing it to short out and turn on the light in the cab.

Right hand side, down low,in front of right differential filter.Sender screws into rear end housing, has flat spade connector.Don't confuse it with the one on the differential filter housing,it indicates hydraulic filter restriction.

Having the same problem with my 8070.Trans temp light comes after 3 hrs and blinks occasionaly. The hyd filter light stays on all of the time.Changed all the filters and fluids. The transmission and hyd works perfect.Checked the connections to the sensors and there fine.Do I need to check the pressure or temp manually some way? Actually check out the wire to the temp sensor and cut loose the zip tie that is holding it to a hyd tube where it has probably melted the insulation and causing the lite to turn on. If the lite stays on when it is disconnected from the temp sensor, the wire is grounded somewhere between the sender and the cab. Same goes for the hyd filter lite...ground the wire to make the light go off (I think) and un-ground to make light come on. If you can make the filter light go on and off by grounding/ungrounding the wire, then you have a bad sensor, plugged filter, wrong filter(non-AGCO) or filter installed wrong.
