There's a G for sale up in Ottawa,Ont., with homemade steel rears, skinned with I assume semi tire 'skins'.

| ! have a 175 allis with steel wheels. Came from Amish a Washington Ind, Bought the tractor and the engine went ad 15 minutes after getting it home. Tractor was a little rough. They can use tractors for farm work but no personal transportation. |

I think in Wisconsin, it is the Mennonite that run steels wheels on tractors. Our Amish are pretty much old order although on occasion a guy can see Amish on steel wheeled bicycles. KenB ------------- '34 WC #629, '49 G, '49 B, '49 WD, '62 D-19, '38 All Crop 60 and still hunting! |
