Has passed away, age 91.
I remember him on WGN radio, and if I’m not mistaken, the 1st host of ‘US Farm Report’.

I was privileged to meet him in the mid-80's. I picked him up at Willard airport in Champaign and he was the keynote speaker for our annual meeting. A very nice, humble gentleman.

Thanks for sharing - sad news - I always looked forward to seeing and hearing him on the air as he was one of a kind. Rest in peace my friend.
