Going to be adjusting valves on our 7060 with the 426, never done it on these motors before used to big truck motors that have ABC on a pulley to know what is timed to be able to adjust. Please fill me in on everything i need to know!

Best to remove valve cover and watch the valves. When it's off see which ex valve is down. Doesn't matter where you are beginning as long as you go through them all in order. Rotate in direction of rotation and watch that ex valve close and it's paired int valve just start to open. STOP! Now find it's "buddy" cylinder and do both valves as it will be up on compression. 1&6 are buddies, 2&5 are buddies and 3&4 are buddies. Firing order 153624. You can go to the trouble of putting timing mark on balancer to find 1 or 6 but not necessary. Just look for the down ex and star there. Chalk mark each when done helps keep track.
Clear as mud?
What big motor has A,B,C? never seen such on my Cats.
