Friends:
I am having difficulty with a marvel schrabler carb. I’ve rebuilt it but it still seems to be flooding out the tractor. I’m beginning to think the load jets are too big.
Although I’m not going to claim to be an expert, I’m a pretty decent mechanic. I’ve rebuilt this entire tractor as I have several others. I just cannot seem to find out what the issue is with the carb
Is there anyone who specializes in rebuilding carbs on this forum?
Or does anyone have a carb in good condition that they will sell. Thanks in advance.

There are many that rebuild carburetors, however those M-S and Zenith tractor carburetors are so stone stupid that is you thoroughly clean everything they work unless you set the float too high. There are some very small passages that plug easily.
------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

boil the float and make sure it does not hiss, set the bowl level and carfuly fillit with gas and make sure gas does not come out of a crack in the bowl or the nozzle gasket, i have seen several marvals that were cracked in the bottom i am sure they had water and froze
