I saved a green DEUTZ-ALLIS 22 inch push mower from the iron pile a while back...I can't seem to find any information on this...nothing on a google search of pictures, parts breakdowns, brochures, or anything...it's like it never existed.  I was trying to find some parts breakdowns and was wondering if anybody had the catalog number to start with...the parts catalog number is not on the sticker where I'm guessing it once was...the mower looks very similar to a Simplicity Zipper model but I can see some differences in the DEUTZ-ALLIS one I saved.  I'm guessing the year to be around a 1986...wanted to try and get it fixed up a little bit and maybe use it...being a DEUTZ-ALLIS I thought it was kind of neat and can't remember seeing any of them around before.  Thank you for any help.

Might help to post under the "garden tractors" section.  I seem to get better responses on my items there with these kinds of topics.  Hope it helps.  Take Care.

After cleaning this mower up I was just barely able to make out the make, model, and serial number on the information tag.  It is a DEUTZ-ALLIS 22 inch Groomer.  I actually had a operators manual and a parts microfiche card for the mower in collection of stuff in my shop.  I'm gonna be building some new parts for the mower side and Briggs and Stratton engine parts are available still if you look around hard enough.

I could use a part number 72070468 deflector if you have one.

A few pictures of this mower project…I think I’m gonna be able to save it and make it run again…fought the engine to get it apart it was like it didn’t want to be fixed it seemed.
