Got the tissue box out for sure.  The good news is they still give us a lot of joy yet today!  Continue to enjoy the journey even though the assembly line is history.

That had to be a sad day for those people. You’re thinking about your job being gone and in a few weeks is Christmas. That had to be a pretty somber mood that day on the line. You’re doing your job just like every other day and then 6070-1972 comes into view. You assemble what you need to do and you put your tools down for the last time, and walk out.

So thankful that AGCO and others still have a lot of parts so we can continue to enjoy them. Thought about that day as I was feeding a round bale using our 6060 yesterday.

I recently watched a short video by I think “Heavy Steel Marvels”  but I don’t remember how it was titled. It talked about the fall of Allis Chalmers. Was some stuff Iv never heard before.

Awe they had to know,,, Seen somewhere was there was only 43 people on the tractor line till the end ,, sad end  for sure,, whats interesting is how Fiat half tractors-- parts came in boxes/ crates,, should tell you something ,,

In a corporate job setting(maybe any job?), sad/bad news almost always arrives via gossip/talk long before (weeks/months) the actual sad/bad actions/decisions become reality. Everyone knew.
