Trying to find info on the steering orbital for this 816 backhoe I recently purchased. I'm sure it was used in other applications, but the tag is gone off the orbital and the part number in the book has gotten me nowhere. Do anyone have any info as far as manufacturer or a number from the orbital itself or even if there is a known interchange? Thanks in advance!

Can you post a picture? It is most likely a common valve. What is wrong with it?

I try to brave the cold later today and snap a couple pictures. It looks like just about every single one i see on the interwebs, I'm just not sure about internal compatibility. I has a crack in the case and is leaking a steady stream of fluid. Before the weather turned cold, I took it apart and the crack in the case goes all the way through to the internal passages, so I figure a replacement is in order.
