I'm in the market for a replacement PTO shaft for my '49 model C with the hydraulic pump option, so the PTO shaft has to be with the oil pump cam lobes.  My existing PTO shaft is the 1 1/8 inch model.  I have read in online forums such as this one, that the 1 3/8 inch PTO shaft can be swapped in as well.

If your C's have the factory hydraulic option, I may be interested.  It's not that hard to get the shaft out, you just need a suitable puller to push it out.

I want a PTO with reasonably healthy splines.  The existing shaft splines are so far gone that the roll pin on the OCR keeps breaking.  Too risky to run the bush hog.

I'm looking at paying somewhere around $150 for a replacement.  I'm waiting to hear back from some other used part suppliers.

I can probably get that to you for like $100. Not sure about the spines though, you can text me at 570 219 5488

Here's a picture of what I'm dealing with currently.  The splines are so far gone the overrun clutch wobbles way too much on the PTO shaft.  It appears that the shaft has been cut shorter, probably making the wobble even worse.  The hydraulic pump unit is there on the left.

Any chance you can upload a simaler picture of the PTO on your tractor, and does it have the hydraulic unit option?

I can get a picture to you, and it does have the factory hydraulic unit on it.

not to be mean Tristan, but thats about the worst picture of a part for sale that i have seen... 30 seconds with a rag or putty knife would have helped 100%.. Wink

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

The part with which the potential buyer is most concerned  is totally obscured. Ouch

A rag and some Brakekleen and you'll have a much better picture!
