Hey there every one. My 6080 started using brake oil. It looses enough to set the light off in a day, Does anyone have a suggestion as to where it's leaking?

Piston seals leaking inside each axle housing.

yeah as Doc states,,, the issue is one thinks one can stand on the left or right brake and see which one is leaking - the issue is this most of the time seals off the leak and it only leaks under very slight pressure which leads to rebuilding both sides to be sure the issue is fixed

With summer work winding down, if I needed to use the tractor, I'd probably start using some 30 wt oil of some kind to slow down the leak. Be assured you'll want to get that stuff out of there when you actually fix the leak, as 30 wt in the winter time wouldn't work well.

Don't use brake fluid in those tractors.

Thanks for the advice. I have ten acres of hay ground I'm working on getting seeded right now so I'll try the 30 weight trick. It sounds like a time involved fix
