I have an 80R mower for my WD45. What mounting brackets do I need to aquire to mount it to my CA? I would imagine they are rare as I have never seen one mounted on a CA. Did they work well with a CA or not? If not that is probably why I have never seen one on a CA.

Okay, I have watched the video on YouTube. It will obviously work. How hard are the CA mounting brackets to find?

I used a bracket for the D-14 until I was able to find a pattern and made the correct one.

I used an 80R on a CA for years. The thing with an rear mounted mower is, you'll tend to get a stiff neck.
The main mount and the correct inner balance spring mounts for the CA/D10,12 may be difficult to find. Get yourself a mower parts book for the 80 series mowers, so you'll know what you're looking for and can recognize them when you see them.
Of all the mowers I used with a CA, in my opinion the best one ever was the 80S. The 82S is much too heavy for a CA and anything else is a rear mount. except for the #5 which is a pitman mower and if all is good they're OK, although the 80S is far superior.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
