Had mine in the bed of the truck today. 17 year old grandson asked what it was. Told him it was a manual weed eater. Used it on some briars today. Worked well.

Still have a Weed Wacker blade hanging in the Shed, also have TWO Sickles/Scythes, one was Great Aunt's she used for Fence row mowing to keep the Hot Wire clear.

Had a similar experience around 12 or 13. Pawpaw had one in his truck and I asked. He said "wanna see how it works?" I said "sure". I think he thoroughly enjoyed saying "I don't think you got it yet. Probably need to keep going"
