Old one gave out, bought a Braun- dont like it at all,, looking for recomendations,,

I loved my Norelco’s, first one was corded, can’t remember the model, gave out, wife bought me a Braun, not near as good, slower rpm’s. Remington used to make a good micro screen, XLR, don’t google it unless you have a 12ga.

I’ve tried different brands over the years, for me, an electric shaver required shaving every day, maybe every other at the most, but that’s not my cup of tea. Went back to using a razor, and shaving twice a week, much better.

Too many years in the sun for this Irish boy. Every time I shave my face peels.
I’ve tried several brands /types of razors. I think I’m going to try an electric.

My latest is a Remington... the one with the three "cutting wheels" that have a lot of tiny blades... works good for me. One thing I do different than I did with previous shavers is to clean it with vacuum instead of just banging it against the wastebasket. Seems like the blades are lasting longer... I am probably just imagining things. Also, i am not exclusively electric shaver, i also use the razor blade sticks ( 3 & 5 blade ) as the alternate on some days. In the final analysis the razor gives a closer shave...at least for me. peace
