Local LP supplier wants to lock in price for next winter at $1.50 - is that look like a good deal? Protects from price going up but stays at $1.50 if price goes down. Would cost me $700 now for about 500 gallons. Located in North East Iowa

right now thats a good price.. Has been running $1.70 to $1.52 this year... You never know for sure what the future brings, but prices have been dropping slowly.

I think mine is either $1.09 or $1.19 but that's commercial rate. I think residential last September or so was around $1.50
