This is the very first year for the Camaro.

For my part, they should have never changed them after 1969 or just quit and never made another.

I had a ‘79 Z28, with the 350 & 4sp on the floor. Definitely a young man’s car, by the time I was thirty I couldn’t last 20 minutes sitting in it. No matter what adjustments I made to the seat, lower lumbar aggravation.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I had a 74 with a strong 350 and a Muncie 4 speed loved it and I had a very nice 79 Z28 350 with an automatic.
I much prefer the 67 to the 69.
Same with chevelle I prefer the 66/67 to the later ones.
Love them all.

Lars was there something wrong with the seat? I can still drive mine all day. I have replaced the seats but only to get some side support and better seat belts. We do some track days with these old cars.

Never could figure the issue, it was traded in for a Dodge Grand Caravan. With our 2nd child on the way, it was for the Z to go.
