I am asking everyone to keep one of my co-workers in your thoughts and prayers, his wife gave birth last week to a beautiful healthy girl, but since delivering his wife has been having seizures. A couple of nights ago she had a major seizure and quit breathing and her heart stopped.  They were able to bring her back to and get her stabilized at the local hospital.  She had been in the critical care at Vincennes In hospital.  They transferred her last night to Indy to do some more tests. Please keep the McDonald family in your thoughts and prayers at this scary time of their lives.
Thanks
Adam

Sounds like it gets worse by the day.  Last update I recieved was that the MRI showed that they believe she may have some brain damage to the left? side of her brain.   It is the side that controls motor skills.  They are worried that it may affect her walking and her speech.  Right now she is in a drug induced coma, but they are talking about trying to bring her out so they can do some more tests.
I will keep everyone updated.
Thanks for the prayers.

Okay update today is that she is stabilized and doing okay.  They did say there is a lot of damage to the top of her brain.  The doctors informed them that more than likely she will not walk again and she may have to have a feeding tube.  Now keep in mind that may be the worst case scenario, we don't know thats just what they were told at this point.  They still have not brought her out of her coma yet though either.
Thanks for all the prayers and please please keep them up for them.
Thanks again
Adam

A little story:
My wife's uncle has fought Cancer 12 times and won. Sure, he has a plastic stomach, no bladder left (and various other parts), and he has a bag on his side to catch his urine. He's knocked on death's door more times than I can count.

One time, his heart stopped beating in the ER. They worked with him and couldn't get it restarted. They went as far as writing down the "time of death" on the certificate. As the nurse went over a few minutes later to start prepping him for the coroner, she looked at the moniter and saw one very small heartbeat! They worked with him again and today he is Cancer free! He gets around better than I do!

Moral of the story: Only God is in control. Prayer changes things. Prayer has brought him through every single time. The family was prepared to accept God's will, but HE chose to let him live.

Prayers are going up for this family. May God lay his hand on her and her family. May HIS will be done.
