          | 8030 FWA Powershift.  When I turn the ignition switch to the "on" position, which dash lights should come on?  None of mine light up.  When I push the test button, all the lights do come on.  Can I assume that the sending units are bad?  When running, sometimes the trans oil pressure light will come on intermittently.
The tractor is pretty new to me and starting to go through it and address some issues. Thanks in advance!

          | The volt lite far left side and the engine & trans pressure lites. I found the white wire harness that plugs into that assemble on the back side of it can cause trouble. Dave |

          | A factory service manual is your best bet. It tells exactly how the warning lights work and how to test them If you are not familiar with the tractor id get a operators manual too

Do you mean the harness that plugs into the back of the lights?

Already have both factory manuals.  Tractor is at my mechanic's shop. I will get him to check the wiring harness out.

Dave:  How did you solve the problem?  Was it just 1 wire in the harness, or the entire harness?
 Thanks!

          | Can't honestly tell what the exact problem was, goofed with for more time than l,d like to a admit, ended up pushing wire connector part way on the circuit board in order to get all lites off again except trans filter lite witch I went after in the first place.( that lite had on been on for about 20 years) Long story short a couple weeks after planting season went to move tractor and no lites came on, so pulled instrument panel off and found the wire connector plug had fallen off, now I was a little peaved so slammed it back on with more force than was necessary stuck the panel back on went to start tractor and be darn if 3 lites came like it should. thats been over a year ago.
