I am moving a westendorf loader from a 7080 to an 8070 FWA. On the 7080, I drilled and threaded holes in the cover (end) plate on the left side of the spool bank corresponding to the pressure, return and standby (pilot) ports of the last spool in the bank.  Installed hoses to westendorf spools.  This enabled the joystick to be used.  All worked perfectly.  (1) I attempted to do the same with the 8070, but the loader does not raise. (2) I teed into the hydraulic pump at the point labeled draft control (which leads to the RH end of the spool bank at the rear of the tractor) and went directly to the westendorf spools.  Also teed into return and standby (pilot) lines. Again, the loader does not raise.  How would I get pressure to the westendorf loader spool bank?  Obviously, I'm missing something. I don't want to use the remotes to operate the loader as I wish to utilize a rear mounted blade (at the same time) requiring three remote ports.  I have temporarily run hoses from the remotes to the westendorf spools and it works just fine.  Any assistance you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Tom

IF you "T"'d into the pilot line, best of memory one needs a one way check valve in the line to prevent signal line pressure  from going to remotes and then sump or return w/o  going to and stroking the pump.
