I am in need of info on shimming the thrust bearing that mounts on the front of a 6080  engine. Thanks

Whenever I shimmed one I shot for .006" end play of the crankshaft. Shove the crank pulley to the rear as far as it will go with a prybar. Set your dial indicator at zero. Have someone step on the clutch pedal all the way and see what you've got.
