So, I have all new steering clutch parts for my HD5G that I think that I am giving up on. Clutch parts include all new bi-metallic clutch discs with the thinner spacee plates. Question is, there is a friend who has an HD9, and would take these clutch plates and spacers off my hands if they would fit in his 9. Anyone know if they are the same or not?
I'm assuming not, or at the very least, the 9 would take more of em. Thanks, Darrel

unsure on HD9 as I used HD11 metallic clutch discs in my HD5G and used original metal discs from HD5 clutch packs . between 5 and 11 the count of clutches differed but were the same overall size

Same clutch discs will fit HD5, HD6 and HD11. Have done all three of these machines with regard to clutches and brakes.
