I recently purchased a 160 with the Perkins engine, and it is now leaking quite a bit of fuel out of one of the fittings on the injector pump feeding the cylinder. It is one in the back, and I can't seem to get a wrench on it. I've ordered a injector fuel line socket that I'm hoping will fit. I'm wondering if I should plan on replacing all the high pressure fuel lines, or I think there are gaskets in the fittings, would it be enough to replace those? I'm assuming a fuel line seal kit like http://https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/Massey-Ferguson-135_Fuel-Line-Seal-Kit_187517.html" rel="nofollow - this would work for the allis chalmers, even though it says it is for a Massey? Thanks for any help!

I wish I could help you. We had a 160 but that was 50 years ago. I was too young to know what kind of pump was on it. I hate for no one to answer you. Maybe some one wil chime in

First off, I don't know why you would want to replace all the high pressure lines. If they don't leak, leave them alone.

I am assuming your leak is where the high pressure line connects to the back of the pump. There is no gasket there. There is a copper washer on each side of the fitting with a bolt going through it. Loosen off the bolt and then re-tighten it. If that doesn't work, replace the washers.

I don't even know what a fuel injector socket looks like. I used a regular wrench on the lines on my 175. No problems.

Well, turns out once I got a wrench that I could get on the fitting, it was an easy fix. Just tightened it up and it worked like a charm.
