One of the first years I have not plowed snow for the end of a season year .
This year with rain for last few days , and so far in the last winter season of 2023 have not even got plow truck ready to run (must be reason for no snow) but last winter/spring I had to use skid loader and the 715B to stack snow on church lot as ran out of room to plow it anywhere .
So a lot of things different this year overall - and the missing from life individuals seem to weigh heavier this year - evidently 80 brings different reactions to many things for we even question how many more one might be here for . ( Yet that count is in the hands of another beyond this place )
So enjoy , live today , for yesterday is gone and tomorrow does not yet belong to us !

Well Coke, I have 5 more years to get to that 80, but I can wait!
Yes, a really weird year for snow.  We can't blame it on Shameless either....  I hope he is getting better!!
I thank the Lord that ALL the rain we've had over the last bunch of days was NOT snow.  We'd be up to our necks I think!

yea, lot different, yet the same... many years ago on New years Eve day, I remember the roads as wet and not much of any snow on the ground.
and this year had snow 3 times that I thought it was going to stay and the last snow we had, got rained away... and have had to dump water out of pans several times since like 3-4 inches worth. and ground is turning soft because of all the rain.
One good thing about the warmer conditions, I haven't burned as much wood this year as in the past... on the other side of that note, we still have 90 days to go, and February I have seen it deep deep cold. brrrrrr
