I personally am not even gonna think I got a hydraulic problem....

Seems like it's contagious.

I'm loosing hy-trann in one of my Red ones, steering hand pump seal. Don't think I have any hydraulic problems currently with the Orange girls. I noticed this trend too.

No ‘lift problem’ with me. Everything raises to the occasion as designed.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I recently lost all of mine in the CA.  The rear seal on the PTO went south.  I got a new one at Hutch and am gonna TRY and put it in tomorrow.  It's just so DAMN hot out and the barn isn't much cooler to work in and I need to cut grass!
I hope I didn't jinx myself on the rest of the girls.....

No hydraulic problems here. I just wanted to make sure that all parts were still in there, so I took them all out. I’ll put them back now. LOL

Unrelated question: anyone know what type of sealant they used for the street els from the hydraulic hose to the hydraulic cylinder? It’s orange and really needed some heat to get it apart. Street el was actually cracked at the cylinder and that’s why all my hydraulic oil was ending up in the rear end. I am betting that the rubber hose was stiff from 65 years of age. Stiff enough to lever on the 1/4 fitting enough to get a hairline crack. Just my guess. Hard to say what really happened.

When I did the hose on my #1 D-14 Troy, ,local guys put a swivel on one end. Made the install easy and hose was 1/2 what AGCO sold me(that's still on the shelf...)
I needed TWO 5G buckets..had one.... sigh....... that was a 'fun' day....

Hydraulics is Plumbing.
Money is not the root of all evil... PLUMBING is the root of all Evil.

Dante's poem La Divina Commedia (1321ish), maps the afterlife such that sinners' eternal punishment occurs in layers, wherin Lucifer resides buried in the deepestmost layer of hell, frozen in a block of ice.

What he does NOT mention (probably because it is difficult to do so without vulgarity in Tuscan language), is that Lucifer is not only frozen in a block of ice, he is sitting on a toilet.

Since the toilet is frozen, it will not flush.

Plumbers, by virtue of their endless patience, are automatically introduced into Heaven, and therefore, there are no plumbers in hell available to fix Lucifer's frozen plumbing....

And this explains why Lucifer is so angry...LOL
