I have a 7060 powershift that needed a new radiator I bought one and the guy that helps on the farm put it in.’ Looked like we were good to go baled three bales of hay great then would barely lift the gate and sounded like it had air in the lines also lost most steering. Long story short when he put the lines on the coolers he crossed them up on one side. Now even with that corrected ihydraulics and steering both work for a short while then start acting like their is a ton of air in the lines and practically quit.’ hydraulic oil level is ok. Any ideas on the most likely thing that was ruined by this that would affect steering and hydraulic pump. Thanks

This assumes all the lines are correct now...?? I have seen the right side belly filter installed bass-ackwards (spring last in instead of spring in first) and that causes troubles with implement hydraulics but steering was good. Maybe time to get a 3000 psi gauge on the "tee" on the side of the PTO valve. Pressure should be 400 to 600 psi hydraulics at rest and 2500 psi hydraulics max pressure when activated. Both pressures should remain steady and not bouncing all over the place. Remove top sight glass and fill the rear end (tractor level) until oil runs out.

I had him switch them tonight and figured that would fix it but I had to leave tomorrow I’m going to trace him down and make 100% sure they are all on Right. I had my gauge on the T had a steady 450 and 2100 when I deadheaded the hydraulics on the rear. When you hook the hydraulics back up to the Baler It will cycle about three times without a bail in it Dan doesn’t want to go up sounds like it is cavitating and the steering also quit working when that happens also making a cavitating noise and not wanting to turn. Filters are in right I changed them a couple months ago everything was working fine until this latest deal

Lines crossed up at the coolers pump hydraulic oil into the transmission and transmission oil into the rear end. At some point the oil levels cannot be correct. AGCO only filters, right ??

Yes I get my filters at the dealer and they are Agco. The rear end was low we added oil dad not a lot though I need to check the transmission I was afraid it may be over full just haven’t got that far yet

Sounds like you are pumping hydraulic oil through bailer and returning to transmission by switched lines at cooler. Works a few times until hydraulic runs out of oil. MACK
