| Steiner indicates you can upgrade the rear seal for a CA from felt to neoprene if you use a D10 seal retainer. Is that recommended or needed? I don't think there's been any issues with the rear seal so far (and I've already bought the felt one in a kit). |

| Well, I bit the bullet anyway. Brother is worried about the felt seal. Don't think there was any evidence of a leak. The clutch and pressure plate were newish looking. |

The engine in my CA-1 has a leaky rear main seal. The plan, such as it was, was to rebuild a 125 that is on the stand. Swap engines and fix the one currently in the tractor. It's a darn good runner, just leaks a bit. Started this plan back in 2020. Bought the 756 and it became the focus. Then deracio hit... Always bigger fish to fry! |

I'm ok with "upgrading". Was just wondering if the D10 seal retainer will really fit on the 125 :)
