My  G sat for a couple of years,, started it and   had two dead cylinders, new spark plugs and wires but still two dead cylinders,  Did a compression  test, dry  80 to  100 lbs, wet test 100 to 125lbs on each cylinder.  What is the top compression on a new engine? What is the firing order of the engine?

are you sure you are getting fire to those cylinders?

#1 is in the rear of tractor at the belt end
firing order is 1-3-4-2

Turns out that when I replaced the plug wires I got  the firing order wrong, changed wires around to correct order  fired up on all cylinders.
